3. Handmade Products

 

All items are handmade, which means slight variations in colour, shape, or finish may occur. These variations are part of the handcrafted nature of the pieces and are not considered defects. Every care is taken to show an accurate and fair representation of all our products. Product images on the website are for illustrative purposes only, and colours may vary depending on screen settings and the unique nature of the handmade process.

4. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are listed in GBP (£).

  • Prices may change at any time without notice, but changes will not affect orders already placed.

  • Payment is processed securely through Wix’s integrated payment system.

  • We do not have access to your card or payment details at any time.

5. Order Processing

​

As all items are handmade:

  • Please allow 5–7 working days for your item to be created before dispatch.

  • During busy periods, processing times may be slightly longer.

  • You will receive a dispatch notification once your item has been shipped.

 

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order if we suspect fraud, misuse, or an error in stock or pricing.

6. Shipping Policy

​

All orders are shipped using Evri Standard Delivery.

  • Free delivery on orders over £25

  • Tracking is included on all orders

  • Delivery typically takes 2–3 working days after dispatch

  • We ship within the UK only

7. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

​

At Bean & Bear Cornwall, we want you to be delighted with your handmade items. However, due to the nature of our products, please read the following carefully:

 

Earrings – Non-Returnable (Hygiene Policy)

  • Due to health and hygiene reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges on earrings, unless the item arrives damaged or faulty.

  • We appreciate your understanding in helping us maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness.

  • All pieces are handmade, and slight variations in colour, shape, or finish may occur. These natural variations are not considered faults.

Returns Eligibility (Non-Earring Items)

For all other non-custom items, you may request a return within 14 days of receiving your order, provided the item is:

  • unused,

  • in its original condition, and

  • returned in its original packaging.

 

Customers are responsible for return postage costs unless the item is damaged or faulty and reported within 24 hours of delivery.

Custom or Personalised Items

Custom-made or personalised items are non-refundable, unless faulty or damaged upon arrival.

8. Faulty or Damaged Items

​

We aim to provide you with high-quality products and excellent customer service. If your item arrives damaged or faulty, please contact within 24 hours of delivery so that we can resolve the issue promptly.

  • All reports of faulty or damaged items must be made within 24 hours of receiving your order.

  • Please contact us via kylie@beanandbearcornwall.co.uk with:

    • a description of the issue, and

    • clear photos of the item and packaging (if possible)

 

This helps us assess the problem accurately and offer the most appropriate solution, which may include a replacement or refund depending on the circumstances.

We will always do our best to ensure your satisfaction and appreciate your cooperation in helping us address any issues swiftly.

9. Cancellation Rights (UK Consumer Law)

​

Under UK consumer law, you may cancel your online order within 14 days of receiving the item.

Exceptions apply to:

  • Custom or personalised items

  • Earrings (for hygiene reasons)

  • Items that have been used, worn, or damaged after delivery

Bean & Bear Cornwall is not liable for:

  • Delays caused by couriers, weather, strikes, or seasonal demand

  • Losses caused by incorrect delivery information provided by the customer

  • Allergic reactions to materials (materials used are listed on each product page). Always check product descriptions for material information before purchasing.

We collect only the information necessary to fulfil your order—name, address, and contact details.

We do not sell or share customer information with third parties for marketing purposes.
We do not have access to your payment or card details.
