At Bean & Bear Cornwall, we aim to provide high-quality handmade jewellery and accessories and excellent customer service. Please read this policy carefully to understand your rights regarding returns, refunds, and faulty items.

1. General Returns Policy

We want you to love your purchase!

  • Non-custom items (excluding earrings): You may request a return within 14 days of receiving your order.

  • Items must be unused, in original condition, and returned in their original packaging.

  • Customers are responsible for return postage costs, unless the item is faulty or damaged and reported within 24 hours of delivery.

2. Earrings – Non-Returnable (Hygiene Policy)

Due to health and hygiene reasons, earrings cannot be returned or exchanged, unless they arrive damaged or faulty.

We appreciate your understanding in helping us maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness.

3. Custom or Personalised Items

Custom or personalised orders are non-refundable, unless they arrive damaged or faulty and are reported within 24 hours of delivery.

4. Faulty or Damaged Items

We take care to ensure every item is made to a high standard. If your item arrives damaged or faulty:

  • Contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order.

  • Email kylie@beanandbearcornwall.co.uk with:

    • A detailed description of the issue

    • Clear photos of the item and packaging (if possible)

 

We will assess the issue and offer a replacement or refund where appropriate. Our goal is to resolve the issue promptly and ensure your satisfaction.

5. Return Process

  1. Contact us via kylie@beanandbearcornwall.co.uk to notify us of your return.

  2. Pack the item securely in its original packaging.

  3. Send the item back to us using a tracked shipping service, if possible.

  4. Once we receive the returned item and confirm it meets our policy criteria, we will process your refund.

 

Refunds are typically issued to the original payment method within 7–14 working days after we receive the returned item.

6. Refund Exceptions

  • Items returned late or not in their original condition may not be eligible for a refund.

  • Earrings (unless faulty) and personalised/custom orders are not refundable.

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable, except where the item is faulty or damaged.
